Umm.. standard exhaust valves? Seems strange if they've enlarged the intake valves... either way, seems expensive

Bigger inlets is fairly normal for a early stage head. The price is not bad tbh for all the work is done properly.

We've got a bit of a different system here, basically usernames are listed in the offer's forum, and it was taken as "the done thing". But, then again, a few people don't follow that anymore... but hey!

Maybe a rethink is needed.

I think not out bidding other members, is entirely different to posting info on a part that wouldn't show up when searching for ebay for 340 and 60's. ;)

Thanks pyro :)

Heh, agreed, sorry didn't mean that as a bad thing. Just a while ago a lot of rare parts got put up, and it caused the situation as it is now. As to whether the current situation is the best anymore, is what I was trying to get at!!!

There's been a lot of debate over this head on Tbricks, and the consensus is that it's not worth the money. A few notes on redblock heads...

First off, the 530 on the B200 is quite a nice flowing head. I'm confident you could see over 170bhp NA on a completely stock head.

Next up, especially for turbo applications, the exhaust valves are way more of a problem. Only KG Trimning's stage 3 turbo head touches the inlet valves, with exhaust valves being enlarged at both stages 1 and 2.

NA engines will require inlet valve enlargement sooner, pound for pound. It's a bit more of a problem for the 2.3 units than the B200, but even on a 2.3, there are far bigger problems. Sort out the intake, exhaust and cam first.

cheers
