a bit of shopping

Post by Tourinki » 18 Aug 2007 11:47 am

I have been collecting some parts for the 300s
Image
Parts for the older one are on the left.
Polybushes, lowering springs and adjustable top mounts i bought from Dai
Also i bought some rubber bushes but they aren't going to this car.
Two sets of front wheel bearings i'm going to fit SKF ones

Parts for the newer one are on the well you can work it out...
Some oil for engine, gearbox and diff. And something called engine flush. Not sure if that is going to work but i guess that there isn't much harm that it can do.
Anti-freeze that big can of green liquid. 10 liters of 100% stuff and radiator flush. Then few gaskets and there is head gasket missing from this picture. It is ordered and hopefully it arrives to maindealer at next wednesday.
New spark plugs, leads, distributor cap and rotorarm.

Hopefully next week will be sunny and warm so i can change headgasket and those other things to that newer 360.

Oh yes. And i started yesterday ripping off that rust protection from the under side of the car. And it will take quite long time to get it finished.

Probably tomorrow i take off the cylinder head so when the gasket arrives then i can fit it straight away. But i'm little bit nervous beccause i haven't never ever taken cylinder head off. So hopefully that engine will live after that gasket change. Luckily i have a spare motor in my garage.
