Warming up the car takes forever, is it something I have to put up with? or can it be fixed. The reason is due to the car drives rough and shakes at low speed when its not warmed up.
Your thermostat is responsible for blocking off coolant flow untill the engine is warmed up, mine jammed open a while back and i replaced it, getting a thermostat was easy enough, but no-one made a gasket IIRC so i had to cut one, easy enough job.
I usually let mine idle for a minute or two and then start driving, temperature needle starts moving up within a minute of that unless it's really cold.

And if i remember correctly Wahler thermostat is same as Volvo thermostat. And it comes with that gasket.
