Really should start work on this

Post by garethreece » 22 Oct 2007 12:14 pm

After many years of hibernation, and despite needing funds for other things. I really need to start gettin to work on my rusty ol' 3dr 360.

Just a quick Question or 2 (first of many I expect)

1) How hard is it to repalce the front crossmember (dad took an angle grinder to it to get the bonnet catch off  )

2) What are the main things that will be hard to get hold of? How many bits can I nab off 3dr 340s and 5dr 360s?

And only 2 of them are on the road :(

1) which part do you mean by the crossmember?

2) most parts are obtainable so no real issues to worry about

The very front of the car, with the VIN plate on, the one the bonnet catch is attatched to, dad butcherd it cos the 340 needed a bonnet catch and dad was to impatiant to wait for WD40 to do its stuff
