• 340 Body 'Styling'

Hi

Being a relative 'noob' to the Volvo 340 I don't know much about it (very little in all honesty)

What I would like to know is: Were there any styling products on the 340 as a factory standard fit (Volvo equivelant of Irmscher/Schnitzer for example) or any aftermarket kits that didn't spoil the original lines too much?

Any one with any names/numbers of suppliers/breakers or anyone with pics that show them?

Volvo did their own factory bodykit, looks quite nice and comprises of front rear and side skirts, I have one on my car

Also, HAAS did a bodykit for the Mk2 300 series too.

Ah it was the Theis kit I was thinking of! Hmm... HAAS didn't do a kit for the 300's afterall did they?

Here's the Haas kit. Try finding one of those though, might be a bit of a task!

Where there any uk models (that weren't quite so rare!) that had extensions or kits fitted?

Any pics of these at all?

Don't know the name of this one anymore ...Aftermarket kit anyway

Nope.. www.realcar.se sold identical ones few years ago but not anymore. Too bad since it's a very nice kit. 80's style.. I've seen couple cars in here with that kit.

It's almost identical to Theiss kit so I think it was a copy of that.

I've got a GLT with the Volvo OEM kit.

Though I don't have the sideskirts currently on as I replaced the sills and I'm going to replace the front wings too so I won't fit them untill I've done that.
