#1 the heater box is for a RHD car

... but it sounds like a really good idea! AFAIK the air recirc system was dropped in '88.
This auction is for a Volvo 340/360 Air recirculation actuator, hoses and switch. It can be fitted to any 340/360 without too much effort and is a hand feature to have as on cold day make the inside of the car warm up much faster and at other times helps to keep out other car fumes.

I thought I'd post his advice here, as it might be of use to someone.
I asked the seller if it was possible to do the conversion using the original heater box, he replied:You remove your current air intake housing, undo the clips to split in half, clips this half on which has the actuator and flap on it then fasten it back. One hose tees into an existing vacuum point on the manifold and tthen to the switch and the other is from the switch to the actuator. The switch simply clips in where there is a blanking plate on the heating control on the dash of your car. And there you are job done!
Can it be done as easily as the seller suggests?it is possible but you have to cut and drill out some of the blanking bit on the housing and this will take you a bit longer. the i'm selling is one i used to upgrade my volvo with which i had to scrap and i found i easier to just split it in half rather than try to swap it over. it only took about 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour to fit the whole thing that way.
