Swapping a Whiteblock in a 360

Hi guys !

I can pick up a totalled S40 2.0T for peanuts... Whiteblock and engine code B4204T3.

It's possible fitting it in a 360 easily or not ?

U need a 'spacer?? don't know what its called. To fit the clutch house. Its available, cause some 2/7/9series cars drive with it.

But why don't go for the sound for the beautiful 5cil engine?

Personaly I would stick to a 2.3 red block turbo in for ease.

If this engine is so cheap why not buy it and sell it on to fund your car.

Bah, of course it is possible, there are even adapters for that you can buy for quite little money.

Easy it is probably not, engine mounts need to be fabricated, intake and exhaust manifolds need probably do from scratch or at least modify.

Engine management and wiring is easy part, ditch original engine management, put in Megasquirt (takes few days to learn build and install, but is quite easy)

It would result great car if you just can make all that work happen.

that was my point, lol - he asked if it was easy and I said no as it probably requires a bit of chopping and changing, anythings possible its just money and time that are required. :D
