Now does anyone know what size n pitch the thread is? as ive found a nice sump plug speicalist for motorsport purpose(as wekll as normal) with a quick drain system ability.

Does it stand proud of the sump, or flush? I find mole grips can release almost any stuck fastener. I bet Mac will know the pitch, if not Machine Mart do pitch gauges for 5.86 and they're open til 6 every day. Tell me more about these fancy plugs...

well i think ive found the problem on my nut. But it involves re tapping it, bit of metal stuck in the grooves solid so it seems that may be whats stopping it going in fully. but still ive got them seperated but i need them do up-able so i can get it ready to go on its final home!

these fancy plugs:

bassicaly screw in and have a one way valve on them and pressure opens them when attached to a drain systems stops oils plashes an all that crap but its quick drain!

Sound good if you like changing your oil often. Cheers.
