Accidental bump to the curb...for instance...

But are you sure they alligned it properly? 4 and 1 is a big difference, you should see that in a sec if you look at it at the rear....

I did see it, shurely bump would make wheel wobble, not bend it to constant -4..

its possible, but theres no rear alignment. i believe its a case of if its out no way to fix other than a new rear axle set up.

i get mine checked every time i get my alignment checked. just on th eof case.

I guess it suggests the mounting points for the the leaf springs are displaced... Can you see any evidence of welding back there? Maybe someone's repaired corrosion to the mounting points without checking alignment. Accident damage big enough to deform the mountings should be obvious. Does anyone know the official specced toe in for a Mk3 360 GLT?

EDIT: It couldn't be dodgy leaf spring could it?

Moving the leaf mountings shouldnt alter the toe. When you put the blocks on it, how did you re allign the axle, and when you did this was the anti tramp bar slacked off?
Normally when a 300 takes a bump to a hub or rear wheel it can bend the de dion slighlty the other thing that can cause a slight diff in camber and poss toe is that the rear hubs corrode as they are aluminium, and the corrosion has been known to bend the hub mounting plate on the de dion.
If you wanted to remove the hubs so you have flat datums to measure from it can all be straightened out.

My old 360 had something very similar to this too... only thing I could think of was it had been curbed in the past. Just ended up buying another axle tube in prep to remedy it, although JasonB has it now

indeed I do... :D - though volvo development has ceased for a while due to a new arrival... I got fed up of not being able to get a reasonably priced cage for the volvo, so I bought a car with a 10 point FIA cage already fitted and plenty of other bits for less than the cheapest volvo cage!

Hold on up there boyo.
You and the filthy one will have to get your handbags out re the cage.
I'm simply a mere stall holder.

Anyhows, back to the subject in hand. How is Avto as I presuming you're his boy now.
Haven't been on BRF for ages but last time I was I saw AV had strayed to Munich-who would of thought that :?

Being of logical mind and reading your post about getting a rolling shell for less than the price of a V360 cage I'm obviously correct.

You can confirm via pm if you are too ashamed to publically announce your bizarre decision.
That is all for now, Jason.Goodnight.

Oh apart from this, it's the smiley you should use in all your posts from now on sm75 No words just that.

hehe, I don't care about the cage.. it was just the thing that made the volvo less financially viable in the long term. I also haven't been on brf for a long time, been too busy earning pennies to keep the landlord happy!

and who said anything about a rolling shell..... :) despite the fact that I really like rwd, I consider getting a very tidy car with a 10point fia cage, billies and powerflex bushes all round etc for less than the cheapest price of a V360 6 point cage a worthwhile decision. (even if it is a faceless sell-out car)

What events are you out on this year then?
