360 on lpg

Post by pyro » 14 Jun 2009 09:56 pm

good evening all, just remembered i have a full lpg set up off of our old v740. which should all be a good fit and suitable for my 360. so think ill be going ahead with it. only missing one bit though, the part that mixer ring fits into, ontop of the carb, inside the air intake.
anyone got any pics of lpg on they're cars so i know on fitment etc, it will be getting tested though ill be fitting it. ill probably be getting a sparewheel shapped, torodial tank of dai if theyre available still.
has anyone fit lpg on theirs as ive no recollection of it been mentioned before!

Get it set up properly and yrs of happy motoring.

Set it up wrong and a world of heartache awaits.

Replace all ignition components and tighten the plug gap and order a spare airbox just in case

Poor spark or too lean-kabooom.

Airbox is nearly always the victim.

the engine the 740 had was a b230k so should be well matched. same carb and mixer ring aswell afaik
