Are all short 300-series water pump pulleys the same?

I'm looking for a water pump pulley like this:

Were they all the same between the Volvo engines in the 300-series cars.

If anybody can get me one, please pm me. It would have to be shipped.

Thanks-

Paul

That's a picture I found of a B230 going into a 360.

The 300-series were never imported to the US, but I'm trying to get some information on the water pump pulleys used on them.

I'm working on a project and need a water pump pulley that fits the shorter water pumps for the B200 engines used 300-series models (as pictured above).

As stated in other posts, my project is fitting a B230 engine into a P210.

I think the answer in general is yes for the B200's in the 360s, you will not want anything from a 340 1.4 or 1.7, totally different engines. Also the earlier B19 360s might be slightly different I'm not sure.

Teah, you want the water pump and pulley from the 360 B200. B19 is different. Both pump and pulley are unique to the 360, and no longer available from Volvo I'm afraid. There are plenty of aftermarket pumps around for not too much money, but I don't know where you'd get a pulley from, except a scrap engine.

I'm in the United States, and the 300-series were never imported here. I'm working on a project of fitting a 1960 Volvo P210 with a B230F engine (M41 tranny with the 1975 240 B21/M40 bellhousing - to slant the engine).

I've done something similar to my 1965 122 (B21/M41 - engine upright like a B18)I could live with the 6mm or so of space between the water pump and the radiator, but thought the 360 water pump would add a little more (about 15mm).

I have found out the 360/B200 water pump is NLA from Volvo (not good), but can still be found in the aftermarket. I can easily find the water pump through some auto warehouses here and in Europe, but no sources of new pulleys. Since the 360s weren't imported to the US, no used sources are here (plus I have no knowledge of them). I've been posting here looking for information and asking for a used pulley for the 360/B200 about a month, but nobody has offered one.

I'm trying to find out if the water pump pulleys from the B19 and B200 Volvo engines using the shorter water pump from the 360s are the same or not (I know the water pumps are different, but are the pulleys different?). Of course, since the 300-series/400-series were never imported to the US, I have no idea which short water pump pulley interchange to the B230 engines (which was used on the 360/B200 engines).

If somebody has the correct water pump pulley (as pictured in the first post), please let me know.

Paul

Since I'm posting pictures, and it's summer, just something to cool off too.

you could run a custom pully, it isn't a very hard componant to make, especially if you'll fabricate it out of aluminium.

that way all you need are some dimensions and presto.
