and the DLS

both GLS and DLS were used only on 343/345 where DLS was De Luxe with S as indication for a 2 liter engine, and GLS Grande Luxe with S as indication for a 2 liter engine.

DL = De Lux, does it, could've fooled me.

I hate to think how basic the povery spec ones would be, that said what could they take off mine already has wind up windows.

Apart from UK, as we never got the 343/345 GLS and DLS's. We did get 360GLS', which were the equiv of later 360GLE's pretty much.

Lol, you should see the Euro 'L' models... they didn't get a lot of things we'd take as standard. Like seats  300's are horrendously underspec'd, until the really late stuff for their era, and in the UK we got the best ones.

oh yes, english market was slightly "off" compared to the dutch market

with my red cvt i thought i had the baldest version with no options at all, but the really tincan optionless cars are a real drama.

just some specifications of the baldest/non accesory version; a euro mk2 340L

- "shooting disc" instead of a clock for the dashboard
- no sigaret lighter/ashtray
- b14.3 with cheapass solex single carburator, only 62bhp.
- 4 speed or cvt
- plain doorcardboards, not even the normal plastic piece to put some stuff in
- hardplastic interiorpieces at the rear couch
- thin version floorcarpet in the trunk
- mirrors adjustable only from the outside of the car
- no heaterpipes for the rear passengers
- fuealcap without a lock

and some other minor details, but those aren't that important

Yes that pretty much it VND.

Mine does have heated seats tho, and yes they do have seat adjusters, but then mine has the thin boot carpet type so unsure however it is a DL.

My late GL (which came with a higher spec than 90% of GLT's as it was one of the last made) still had a thin boot carpet, as did one of my GLT's

Seat adjusters is one I'd forgotten, I couldn't get over the fact they had gone to the effort to remove them, surely that must have costed more in the long term? Same with the ski flap.
