hi guys had this go on me last night and had to be relayed home, the technician said that we could cut the end inch of and replace it as it had only given because the clamp which was to tight had cut into it!using a good jubilee clamp.
this is where it went, hes right it is right on the clamp!
any thoughts?on where if i do replace,is there a good place to upgrade these/ or should i do as he says, there is no corosion or cracking on any of the pipes.
also so info on re filling the system would help.
feel free to give me a call if you please carlyle 07850867627
top hose emergency
Re: top hose emergency
bit of 1" hose is all i used on mine to replace it.
filling up wise just open the cap on the resivour and fill back up and runn it again.

Re: top hose emergency
Yup, as Kaos says, the system self bleeds if you leave the heater on and the header tank cap off. 300 hoses arn't available (though that one was when I ran a 1.4, but that was 5years ago). What I do when hoses go now is cut off enough to get a joiner on, and use a new bit of pipe for the 6" (ish, depending on where the bends are). Silicon straights and corners are pretty cheap if you just need one, and in the end you'll have a complete silicon hose
If feeling flush, you could just replace it with straights and bends :p
