understeer? i have zero problems with that; it has a normal steering character on cornering but give too much throttle and you get instantly oversteer. today in the snow/ice i had some understeer difficulties; but that's due to wide tyres and slicks on the back..

what tyresize do you have on the front and back; what condition are your tires and what brand and type of tyres do you have???

Have you upgraded the front suspension? The combination of a welded diff and land rover shocks on the rear can't be helping if the shocks on the front are still standard.

Welded diffs understeer more so because the inside wheels are trying to put as much power down as the inside wheels so it doesn't give much leaway to steering, thats why they skip when turning at low speeds. all part n parcel to owning a welded diff. The positive sides greatly outweigh this imo. As others have said little things like stiffening up the front suspension to match the landy shocks etc. will help counter it but all in all don't worry about it.
