having a stiffer front suspension than the rear? as im going to be making coilovers within the next 2 - 3 weeks... im going to get a sturdy set up. ill compensate this by getting land rover shocks for the back.. but will that completely ruin the handling by having a (what i think) is a stiffer front end? these are the springs i had in mind for using at the front:

also as they are relatively short - i will need to get shorter dampers for the front. i dont exactly know how much shorter they need to be atm as i havent got a complete front strut assembly in front of me.. but i was going to shorten the strut by about 2 inches - is this too much? as really im guessing at the moment as dont have a complete strut in front of me - anyone got any cheap ones they want to donate/offer to me for a reasonable price? *nudge nudge wink wink*

Not meaning to burst a bubble, but those springs will be way to soft. I ran 250lb wen i ran my coilovers on my F7R engined 340. And they were very nice. I am now going to be running 300lb springs with the T5 engine.
That spring kit wont go on a 340 leg as the leg is more than 50mm OD. You need to use a 2.5" spring conversion kit or have custom legs made.

i swear it was 2 inches across when i measured it :?: :( ill have a proper look again tomorrow, cheers buddy :)
