Just some pics of my latest 340...
Done 43,000 miles. She's in excellent condition. Expecting some age related issues. Had to sort out the leaky fuel tank as it was weeping fuel.
Potential explosive consequences averted
This is my daily driver and I do 60 miles everyday 5 days a week

Evil motor - keep up the great work. I used to believe in evolution until I found out that Charles Darwin married his cousin, but you do have to be a bit careful who you say that to ;- Come to think of it, I can't remember when I last saw any of my cousins... must be 28 years ago (!!)... mind you, I never did get on with them that well ;-0

This is the exact model I had many moons ago, unfortunately it didn't end well with car developing several problems, of which one was unfixable at the time. I hope you have a better experience.

She's going strong....so far

I can only say the previous owners must have taken very good care of her

Looks a nice clean car. It would be well worth giving it a good wax oil

She's doing very well as my daily driver. Bit thirsty but I was expecting that. Best economy I've achieved so far is 41mpg. But 36-37mpg is what she returns normally.
At the moment the only issue I have is a sticking starter motor. I can avoid this issue by being very careful when I try and start the car but I should really get it checked out tbh.
I try and polish the car every week to give the bodywork some kind of protection... Perhaps rust proofing the underside is not such a bad idea Dai... Task for the future!
