When you say backbox, you mean the exhaust? just the gearbox is at the back. Just wanna be clear :P

Going to get it on a lift tommrow. I know another guy whose had volvos years (not a fan of the internet though ahah..)

Yeah I'd look at the exhaust too, they need to be adjusted and mounted correctly and if not they can knock against the driveshaft and boot floor sometimes

Im actually really gutted that she's gone now, but i am happy that its gone to a good home, she's clearly loved and i'm sure you'll continue to do it justice...should have asked for more money!! lol

haha, ye he is! I was abit concerned earlier, i put £20 in and it last a day, but then i counted my miles and id done nearly 70 in and out of town haha!

It is having trouble started when cold, going to try to get a new idle cotnrol valve. Going to check the gearbox oil tommrow and we thinki it may need a new wheel bearing.
