Finally found myself a v300 at a distance i can travel to and won it at a reasonable price, ive been hunting for one of these for sometime now for my first car ive always loved these seeing as my dads specialised in volvos for over 25 years now and had many (meaning ive got a few accessories and parts to go on it as soon as i get it ;))
And dont worry i may be young but i dont need shooting this car is going to be loved and kept fairly standard you'll have probably seen it on ebay and im going to collect her on tuesday hopefully so it will all start from there. heres some pics of it off ebay, keep you up to date with my project cheers theo.

awesome, another person who got one as their first car :D i got one too and still in my first 5 months of driving, onto my second as the mot ran out on the other one. they are awesome cars and your friends will love it, mine like these so much that they made a fan club and everything on fb  and whenever i meet anyone they always know about my car as they've been told its the coolest thing ever 8)

as a negative,, those dampers wont fit the 340 because they bolt on through a hole on a 300 and those have eyelet fittings

Looks good! personally i like the steels, is the lip polished metal? looks it from pics, that with a slightly darker silver centre would look great, banded - even better :D

I do like that equilizer too!

If you have any Mk 1 bits you want to sell, let me know! I could do with a grill (with plastic fixing bolts/intact), if you want to sell that center console panel, I'd buy that too (I think it only fits a Mk 1 interior), also lights and silver trim around them!

Great save with the car, nice to get a 3-door!

Let me know if you need any parts, I have some spares (mainly trim parts) I'll see what I've got.

Yeah I am up for selling mk1 bits or maybe swap for other parts and accesories, also that gauge panel does only fit a mk1. What parts do you have ?

The guage panel is for my Mk1 (1980) so it has the very early (but black not brown) interior.
I could do with at least one pair of good reflectors for the headlights, and as I said the grill where the plastic bolt is fixed it slightly broken. What part of the country are you in?

The parts I have are mostly from a G reg 5 door I stripped recently, but many of the parts are the same. Basically all the interior, dash, switches etc. Also have spare light lenses, and quite a few bits and bobs. Basically if I have more spares of anything than I really need, I'll sell them. (when i say sell, as long as I get the postage back and a few quid I'm happy!) Not so much of the mechanical stuff as the car went for banger racing. There is another one coming up soon (another 5 door :( ) so although I'm not taking everything this time I can get some parts. (It's not me racing them by the way, I've tried to re-home this one but no one wanted it!)

Hi Helldriver.
There is a mk1 rev counter on German e-bay at the moment. Finishing tomorow.
However the seller is looking for silly money. Also a mk1 time clock.
Cheers Mark. sm4
