Do you have the cover for the CVT? I'm assuming you took it off for viewing, I never had any problems with the rain BUT if you go through floodwater you will get some slight slippage if you put your foot down :oops: The water was pretty deep though(about top of the sills!

Oh I do have a set of covers. As you said, have been removed for display purposes. :)
The only thing they are good for is to keep road debris out of the pulleys but makes it hard for people to appreciate (and also hard to spot problems).
I have never encountered (read- avoid, like the plague) deep water with a Vario due to slippage but rain never bothers them as we all know.
