Hi Guys.
I `am from Norway, way up north
Just bought myself an 345 GLS 2.0 V.I.P.edition, number 74/100.
This has been owned by an elderly couple her whole life as a matter of fact.
It runs perfectly everyday without struggle and mechanical issues. Love it.
I have some minor plans for it, but i am a student with "just" two part jobs plus school projects.
So i have to have patience to do proper work and modifying on my baby.
Hope this forum will help me in getting the good "know how" knowledge in 300series Volvo.

Some more pictures!
Soon it is Summer time, and that means new Rims.
I am thinking about purchasing a set of slick alley cat 7" in 13" dimension. What think you guys about that stance?
And probably some minor blocks and spring set in 50mm?
Back plate for the sign, and brand new number plates in steel.

Great car! looks fanastic!
I dont want to be rude but IMO the word "stance" should be used with regard a car like this!

Looks good as it is on the Volvo GT alloys. Seems a shame to mess with a V.I.P.

Rare car, i'd never head of a VIP edition. Looks really nice!
Being an old and good condition motor, it would be nice to see it kept in pristine standard condition. That said, how many 'MK1's do you see getting a 50mm drop and some cool rims? Whatever you do to it, make sure it's done well and looks good

Loving the VIP. Looks great, make sure you look after it.
By all means alter it if that is what you want to do but be carefull not to over do things.

Thanks once again for the response guys!
Actually this weekend i bought myself a 7jx13 rallye special alley cat rims.
Rollin on dubs!
The guage was enormous in change, i feel every little kink in the road surface.
But now I`am playing with the thought of lowering it 50mm with parts from classic swede.co.uk
Anyone in the forum that have any experience with parts from that site? Good? Bad?
I will upload an picture with the new rims asap.
Oh and today i polished and lay some high gloss swizzwax (Shield) before the summer kicks in!

I just noticed those headlamp wipers, are those motors, arms and blades the same as the later cars?

B19 GLS VIP Edition! Wow, superb. Does it have those plush rear headrests as well?
The only other Mk1 S model special edition was the R-Sport ...
Cheers
Tom

Indeed it does. You can just make them out in the pictures if you are viewing on a screen of a certain size.
