I liked the sound of that.
A friend of mine can weld me a custom twin pipe exhaust.

Hi guys,

I know this post is going to probably be the definition of "joining a part late and not knowing whats going on" but could someone give me a summary of the 340 bodykit project? Has DBS Motorsport been remaking bodykits for the 300s? How much are they as Im interested! Beter to protect the front and rear valalnce from stonechips once they are rebuilt! They get so rusty on 340s!

cheers guys!

Shimon
Enjoy your 300s

You can find all the info in the Bodykit topic.
In short; this is a private initiative, If you want one, ask Foggy.

I have no patience so I tried the front valance on the back.
It looks like it has some potential.
My towbar prevented me from hanging it high enough, but you get the idea...
Hanging it higher will make the gaps for the exhaust a bit to small, so maybe a combination of a rear valance and a front valance should do the job...

I noticed my front valance was knackered on 3 separate places... :(
Can I order one James?

Interesting...interesting! With a bit of work, that might look pretty good.

I think it's now a case of get in touch with Dave yourself, although I'd leave it a while as he's doing mechanical work for his kitcar launch. They'll be available for some time to come - that's the main news!

cheers

I'm not in a hurry on this one.
Maybe he can combine the two valances in one. The top half of the rear valance combined with the bottom half of the front valance...

If anyone has both front and rear ones, could he hold the front one against the bottom one and get me some pics?
I would like to see how much modding is needed...

I already have the exhaust plans drawn out, it will look and sound sweet!

One posibility for coming up with an idea is to use a 3D modeling package to make a virtual one.

I may be able to have a go sometime at an idea if I can find time...
