Thanks, Mac.

Great advice on uneven braking force.
now when i think about it i might unintentionally left some grease on pads\disk. Sure i wiped them but this thing was all around the place.
I reused all initial discs\pads\calipers.
Now with a peace of mind that nothing is likely to fall off in the brakes department i'll report after a drive to the upcoming track day next Saturday.

Thanks and regards, Andrey.

Hey, championship progressed to its second half.
Participated in the third round on the yet another new track - car runs great. Outdoor temperature raises up so there is a lot of sand on the track, so the speeds are climbing up. I've managed 130kmh on the straight and that was scary.
In my class, I've been outrun only by the guys in faster volvo (940 turbo), which seems fair=)

Brakes are good after a good cleaning and a drive to the track.
Hope they will post more photos soon.
I'm thinking to make rotating tripod on the back of the car to film drifts from 3rd person view. Coincidentally, this device is called Russian Arm=)

Hi Guys,

So the next time i went to another track. 6kms long and very high-speed.
Practiced all day there, got much fun and skipped the timed laps the other day.
Falling into a high angle slide in a negative camber turn at the top end of 3rd gear mastered.

And then visited end-of-the-season race with my friend. Got some nice pictures from there as well.

Propshaft broke down during this final event, which is fine as long as i got my fun and the car held alright during this whole season.
I'll probably be selling the car to close this chapter and move on.
That was a great journey and i'm very grateful to you for sharing it with me.

Thanks and best regards, Andrey.

Andrey,

It's been a pleasure to follow your project - if our advice and comments have helped you in some small way then even better!
Do keep In touch if you wish - you don't need a Volvo to chat, comment or seek answers you think someone here might have.

I, and I'm sure everybody here at V3M wish you all the very best on your continuing journey - wherever it may take you!

Regards and respect - Mac.

Looks like you have had a brilliant time in your 340 and you have learned some good driving skills in it.

Good luck with whatever you move on to :)
