Hi folks,
Posted over on the newbie thread but thought it best to show face here too... since I posted there though, the long road back to road worthiness is creeping closer!
Bit of background; new 17.3.83, owned by some people (no logbook yet) then nosed into a lockup in January 1997 and left to die. My neighbour works in one of the local car breakers and knowing my penchant for Volvos - this is my eighth - phoned me when we went to collect it. Pictures were seen, a deal was struck and it was deposited at my place of work in mid-November. Unfortunately some bad news came and it sat for a few weeks but Sunday past seen me manage to get a tune out of the old thing and get it over the pit for inspection. A few crusty bits topside (battery tray, bottom of the offside B-pillar and some blebs on the sills) but underneath seems pretty solid so should be a fairly straightforward (famous last words) recommissioning.
Some pictures from my phone as I've not managed to get any off the camera yet.
Cheers
Andy
