re the year: she's a 1991...jus about to turn a reliable 42k, slight miss around 2200-2600rpm..changed dizzy,leads,plugs,filters,oil an stil slight chug/miss at those revs, not yet confident enough te start screwin at the carb myself so may call upon a carb minded mate unless you's can point somethin iv missed??
re lowering: its down 2" at the rear, gonna eventually try landy shocks ( ALOT to pay out this month

) but iv 165/65/13 tyres there to put on once the 175/70's are done...i'd sooner let them rub than risk scratchin a rim wile changin a good tyre..makes more sense to me to change only when the tyres done

...kinda the same about engines, wont do a swap til engine comin out is right said fred, simply red.... DEAD
re wheels: i was pondering superlites but as most have seen most modded 340/360s are wearing a set...cuz its cooool!! but i love classics on older dubs an it made sense in the pic i had in my head....i was after a 3dr mk3 to see wat its like in the flesh but most 340/360s over here in NI are long dead an rusted to bits so i jumped at this 5dr once me an the eldest bro went to have a look...i quote him " if your serious about buyin 1 thats the 1 to buy " although a fella i know threw another site has got 1 now too...il get you's a few piccys of it.

...anyone ever tried cutting an re-threading a strut?? what way does that operate??trackrod/ends etc??...also stil a few wee niggles to sort ie: petrol guage..snot working an im fed up watchin miles or pourin my rescue can into her...had the float out of the tank already an its free moving up an down so thinkin its in at the dash??
