The wishbones are pivot'd in a silly place, must be and imp/stilleto/chamois ;) I never dawned how similar they look though, just the rear wing curving round the lights and the bonnet looking more evil (both on the imp) that I can spot!

Nice choice on the wheels mate. Definitley lower it though. You could drop that 2" and not have any troubles IMO. Then it will look so much better IMO! Nothing changes a car like wheels, no doubt. However, then lowering the car makes a monumental difference too!

I've been way off the beaten track many a time in my 360 and it's only when the subframe/sills/floor/rear springs started seriously grounding out that I gave up. lol

What do you get up to in it?

Still room to lower that IMO. John, Ron and I have been known to do similar, just without the officials and cones. :D
My Daft Punk soundtrack was looping at the time I was watching that video, which made it seem even more repetitive. I've no doubt it's fun to do though.

Hit it with the stick man! 8)

Personally, im pioneering the super hiride look.
Last two cars have had at least 17 inch arch gaps, BUT, Im of the opinion that this car would look 10000% better down two inches.

FINE. At the moment I'm trying to develop a cheap version of stiff suspension. Stiff but rides high. When I can afford a full set of Dai's lovelies I'll go do it.

Oh and the other thing is I'm not 100% that the arches clear the tyres. But that can be fixed at the time...

Re: Speedy88's The Tardis: Weekend faffing

Thought I'd give the tint spray a go. Experiments on a spare set, 2 and 4 coats side by side:

And then 8 coats, tbh can't tell the difference between that and 4:

Image

Originally the idea was to get orange spray for the front indicators but to be fair I think 2 coats of red will get the effect I wanted!

More faffing tomorrow.

Bit of a lame update really but I thought my fix today was cool. First time I've tinkered for a while.

So vibrations/heat/car aids did this to my alternator adjuster:

Oh noes, I thought. I've got no welding gas. Thought I'd give it a go anyway.

First I found a bolt and did this:

Actually pretty strong just like this, thought some metal glue would be appreciated though:

She's not pretty. But she survived the hammer test. Welding without gas WIN.

And a little picture of how she's looking now:

Need to change the appearance for the summer, was thinking of stickerbombing the boot but we'll see.

Good work fell.

Is "stickerbombing" like where you cover a whole pannel in layered stickers?

Ive never heard the phrase before.

Oh yeah! I also stumbled accross this place. This will mean NOTHING to you if you don't frequent Retro Rides much. But my new job is about 2 minutes from this:
