YEAH!! Dymo labels complete the look IMO. Cheers lads! Got the little lamps working when the switches are on now too. I'm happy now.

Nice one chaps, thanks! Next fab project is an accelerator pedal, and then some solid top-mounts for the dampers . . . maybe. Some aircraft grade ali at uni at the mo not being used. It'd be great to give it a use!

In the mean time, came perilously close to a blow out on the motorway, luckily got me home. It was down to the wire in a section. Either a miss made tyre, or I ran over something and it slashed the tyre. Definitely wasn't over pressurised, check them very regularly! I thought it was about time I bought some decent wheels if I'm getting some new tyres, so sold my road bike, and these turned up today. 13x8 ET Neg 10.

I would say that it looks like it's worn down in that particular spot.

Yeah. Funky ain't it? Only thing I can think of is its been miss-made, bulged, and as its worn down its got gradually worse, affecting the balancing eventually, which is how I noticed it. Been driving on it for a while though. :?

Its ok though! I won't be using that tyre again!

Yesterday got some tyres on the wellers. They're 70 profile 175s, so they're pretty big, but at £30 a corner fitted for brand new tyres, I'm not gonna complain! Ablefit tyres, really good prices, but christ they're miserable! One bloke shouted at me as I walked in with the wheels "your not gonna fit them tyres on them wheels mate, we'll fit them , but when the tyre bursts its on you blah blah blah" Alright mate, thats fine, calm down. I think he was having a bad day.

So, tyres went on like a piece of cake, good ol' bead blaster! Its nice having a little stretch again, stiffer sidewalls = power steering

Went to the tip to get rid of some old tyres, so got some snaps of the car on the way back.

The look I'm after is pretty much complete, I still think a chrome grill is needed though. I'm regretting spraying it now.

Dude, that looks badass. 8)

Think the profile looks right for the car imo. 13s on low profiles look rubbish.

Youve got to be pretty happy with that look now man.

Tbf, I'd have turned you away ;) No idea how they let stretch like that go through their company with the claims situation as it is now :P
