Most people know me from the thread with the 2 360GLE saloons. One from my dad and the other one from me :) But now the work on my 360 has begun, I will update the blue car in this thread!

First some specs
Image

Image

- 2.0i
-powersteering
- 218.5 blue
- April 1987

many options already on it, e-windows and mirrors, central locking, fogg lights, 6 dails dash, etc ,etc

What are the plans with it?
First, welding! A lot of welding...
second, give it some proper maintenance (new oil, filters, etc etc)
third, add 'some' accessoires

Exterior
- clear indicators
Image

- red indicators in the rear cluster (pic is from Adam)
Image

- full saloon bodykit!
Image

- Original electric aerial V300
Image

- Volvo 460 spoiler
Image

- Saloon louvre
Image

- new rims
Image

-blake indicators in the front bumper
- mirros and snowcap in color

Handling upgrade! warning, 18++ automotive porn

Image

- Dai springs --> minus 2 cm 180 LBS
- GLT leaf springs
- Polybushes
- koni load-a-justers (new)
- koni 360 front (new)
- drilled front disks

many thanks too Anjo for the powdercoating! sm4

maybe strut brace in the future?

Interior
- Volvo 760 Alarm
Image

- tripcomputer!
Image

- some RHD leather! That means a brand new driver seat for me ;)
Image

Image

- gauge panel with 3 gauges (oil temp and presure and volt) (pic from adam)
Image

- chrome Volvo S80 sill cover
Image

with light in it!!!
Image

- some proper audio! (focal 100KRS front and focal solution 25A1 active sub already waiting :))

Maybe an aircon if I can find one, that would make it full option sm4

Tomorrow rust and welding update

Yes they do! They are very flat, you only need to find a hole in the sill for the cable, but that's also already in the sill (for anti rust treatment in the factory) :)
There are also the same sills for the backdoors, but I don't know if I'm gonna buy them, they are kind of expensive

You should ask Adam, I just borrowed his pic, because I still need to make the third gauge into the panel

I've come now!

Very nice stuff, doing lots of welding and suspension repainting+uprating myself on my Saloon, but all OE black (epoxy mastic). Very boring I know, but trying to keep the OE look while putting in a B230FT.

I thought the trip computer was carb only using a flow sensor, and your is an injection engine?

yeah the bastard has found himself an original trip computer for injection models, i believe he's even had several chances to buy the computers for a carbed model?

Do I detect a trace of envy in your post, Anjo  ?

no totally not Tom, I hate the trip computers, even though they're very rare, Mark knows that
i'd maybe like them if they were integrated in the dash instead of mounted with selftapping screws on a flexible arm...

Yeah, the flexible arm is a bit of a turn-off. I love the 80's Casio wrist-watch style of the display though ...

Haha yeah I could have had 5 carb trip computers....
1 of Joost, 1 of MP, 1 of Adam, but was not complet, and I know somebody with 2 NOS carb models....

I don't like the flexible arm too, so I want to try something like this:
Image

I guess the size of the grid is the same in a 200 as in a 300...

You should be able to see somewhere how I had it mounted in mine. It replaced the clock and the ashtray.
