I still think I could get away with my flipped manifold. You'd really need to know your williams engines. What do you reckon chris?

Depends how tight the scruit is tbh. I was going to, but really can't be bothered to turn up to something to be turned away. In daylight, the difference in the welds is obvious, at night though...

Scruits seem to like working in daylight when they can I've found :(

Yeah I suppose. I'll find a way around it in the future at some point. I'll have to when I get serious about rallying but seems the best option is to mod the heater/blower box

Scruts aren't the problem.

Languish at the back and it's not a problem.

Start doing well and your fellow competitors will point the scruts in the right direction

I saw this and made me laugh. Think the scruts would notice?

Why dont you run an F7P? If Renault engines were fitted to Volvos then I'm sure you can get around this. Mk2s with Duratecs, E30 318is with M3 lumps, 205's with Gti6 lumps.

I have to say Dai's shocks and springs made a massive difference to mine when I was using it for autotesting well worth it

cheers spent many a cold night stripping them down and painting them, they were speedlines that were standard fit on a golf so turn up quite cheap if your lucky

I've got a pair of Dai's springs 220lb + 1" I think :?

Can't recall exactly but they're brand new never fitted £40 if they're any good.

360's are alright round the lanes... I've always disliked the balance for some reason though - I reckon a 340 would be a much better option as it has less of a boat anchor to understeer with... that said, a set of polybushes from rally design and some uprated springs from dai and also some dubious modified bilstein monotube dampers from a heavier volvo and mine handled alright in the lanes.... certainly had better turn in (but then I had the doggiest of dog rough 360's owned by practically everyone it seems)
