Just went to the garbage dump with the 360 so i could peek on the screen how much the car with crap weighs.
I was surprised to see that the car with 5 tires and 10 liters of oil weighs 1080KG

Ohh, looks like a fun series to compete in! I think I saw a picture of the series from some years ago, like 2005, nice too see it still going strong

Replaces the spark plugs, the old ones felt apart when i took them off
Also replaced the rotor, the cap i have to return they gave me the wrong one.
Today i took the red Koni;s out and set them to super stiff. feels like the ride is much better and car looks lower to somehow?
I found some oil in the struts but not sure where it is off the koni was a bit dirty but did not show any leaks.

Nice moment to check the front breaks too, the used pads from Mike07 are lasting long. he did a race on them, i did the elandrun and last race with them. still enough to do another race at least.

Few days ago i replaced all the lines from the petrol tank. The only ones that i need to replace are the ones on the pump and have to get a new filter.. I'm thinking of removing it. Haynes does not even talk about it though the filter says Volvo.

Well i had to see if my effort has done anything for my time on the track. Yesterday there was a test day at the track of Zandvoort. I joined up for the group of race license holders with race cars. all of the sudden i was racing with old porches, mustangs and all kind of other cool stuff!

The car felt allot stiffer, good for the ride on the track less for the ride on the way home  managed to get 2 seconds of my time overall . Still way to slow but making progress so that's good :) Last test session Mike07 joined up in my car to tell me his race lines and breakpoints. Too bad there was not a session after that cause we both where wondering if Mike07 could nibble of those 10 seconds where looking for in my build 360.

I had no real petrol issue's and the car ran smooth. So now its up to me to make up for some time and maybe strip the car down some more.
Also find a way to get more sponsors to cover the fees for racing

360 Cup drivers are nice people. One invited me via Facebook to his garage to see if there is some stuff to gain from the car.
First off we did a compression measurement of the engine to see what 3K and running op LPG for a while did.
Seems like its around 8-9 around the same his engine had apparenlty. I'm not sure if its good i have to check my greenbook

Like many other drivers he told me to get better springs.. i'm working on it. strip some more out of the car.
Lastly we redid the exhaust a little more so its higher than it ever was and gave the clamps a spot weld

Had to sort out the small steering wheel. Might as well trow on a OEM Volvo steering wheel then!
(flash makes it all look way more horrible then it is)
