Rare!!!!

Im up for a northern minimett whenever, work permitting. Sure we could scare up 3 or 4 and beat the regonal record.
Well a possible mini meet could look like this:

Mattywatsit - 86' 360 GLT
Volvosneverdie - 84' 340 GL
FilthyJohn - 90' 340 F7P / 82' 343 DL
Nimminz - 88' 360 GLT
L14NMP - no idea as the 360 turbo isn't on the road is it?

There is atleast 4 cars there  ;)

Out of interest when is the next V3M meet?

Matt.
We didn't do that at all last year   Ok, maybe a little bit

Next official Big V3M Meet (tm) is the 300 national in September. Small breakout factions are allowed to meet where ever and whenever ;)
Haha, I can't wait to go to a national meet as I've not seen that many different 300 series yet!

Has the location of September's National meet been pinned down yet?

As above for a mini meet

Thanks to City Link i haven't yet recieved my 5th Volvo 440 wheel & centre cap! I paid for next day delivery last Friday, it was posted on Monday and City Link delivered it to Harrow! along with other parcels... bear in mind the wheel is coming from Birmingham! Utter cock up on their part - to cut a long story short; it should be getting re-collected and posted to me. I've not heard from City Link in a couple of days - so i've no idea on an ETA either!

On the upside i managed to pick up another 185/55/R15 during the week for just over £18 Partworn :D It is Continental PremiumContact and has over 7mm of tread remaning and best of all was local; making it able to collect.

So just waiting on the wheel to go in it!

Hoping to have the 5x GLT wheels sold soon as storage is a little tight! Then going to get a Gen. Volvo cambelt ordered along with a few other goodies

The premium contacts are definitely worth a go, good tyre! However, a little tip - go for 195/50/15's - they're usually way more common and cheaper :)

Today I took a little bit of a risk!... that paid off :D

I removed the front bumper, grille and headlights + headlight wipers and motor.

I then stripped the headlights apart and gave them a good clean all over, and painted the surrounds inside black 8)

Managed to get them re-built and back on the car and everything back on within a few hours after starting taking things to pieces.

It was a risk as I need the car in the morning to get to work :P

Pics possibly tomorrow, as I also had time to give it a wash tonight too....

Matt.

That looks stunning - they should've always had black headlight surrounds from the factory :)
