biggest problem with these higly modified/powerfull cars is that you need to know your stuff if you want to buy it; or you'll drive it, it eventually breaks something and you're screwed (a normal garage won't be able to fix anything as they don't know what parts they need. it's not a high horsepower japanese whip that everyone knows a lot of )
guys that know theyre stuff mostly want to build their own machines, because that's more fun and you get to know the car from the ground up. on a sidenote, this car isn't license registred anymore so its purely a track-toy.
so the price he's asking is looking at the parts/car a very good buy! but he needs a handyman to buy it who has no time to build his own trackcar or something; so it's a small market of people that are potentially interested

Nothing wrong with it if he writes his own haynes manual for it for the next owner

would love to read the build thread for it.

there is no story on the inet, owner isn't that fanatic with publishing facts/figures etc.
he is/was a (parttime)mechanic at a Porsche dealer (hense why a lot of parts are from different porsche's)

engine wise: B230FT base, forged pistons and rods, forged B21ET crank and a turbo off a Porsche (no idea on size/trim though), standalone management and 3,5" exhaust.
around 450bhp and 600Nm@3200rpm
