Hi Chris,

I love your 360GLT.

You know what, if I could ever find a really nice one.

I would buy it cos I love all these Volvo 300 models.

:340: :360:

And your's is my favourite colour too . 8)

If you can pm me a picture, I'll label it up for you if you like. It'll make life considerably easier, and is certainly an upgrade from an in tank setup.

Hiya,

You are welcome.

Tempting for sure but I really need to spend money on the Mazda MX-6 now that the clutch is on the way out.

I have a guy from Nottingham on the Ford Probe/MX-6 forum who can fit the £100.00 clutch kit for £140.00 = £240.00 plus pay his fuel from his home to Surrey and back say £50 quid = £290.00.

My local Mazda quoted me £640 !!!! Not that I would use them anyway.

So as much as I would love to, I am going to have to decline but seeing your "For Sale" thread, you don't really want to sell her, do you  ..... :360:

I wouldn't.

Happy Xmas

Paula

Anyone that thought I'd lost interest.. hehe not a chance ;)
Just waiting for nicer weather and had a bit of work to do on my daily transport. Now I've found some time to get started...

Atm, I'm getting the wiring ready. I've 'adjusted' the loom a bit so it'll be a lot tidier in the engine bay. The plan is to put the ecu's/relays behind the dash on the passenger side. Before I can finish the wiring mods, there's just a few plugs i need to know what they do.

Pic 2 Looks like knock or temp sensor

Pic 3 looks like coil or MAP sensor, and another temp/knock sensor

Pic 1 - no idea, might not be needed (wasn't on mine)

thanks for replying :)

I checked against the diags and it seems pic 2 is a boost regulating valve. pic 3 looks like a knock sensor and temp sensor.

Now to figure out where these are on the engine

Progress :)

I now know what all the mystery plugs are (after a while with the haynes book and a dvm)

this black plug on a long wire is a diag pin, so I'll just leave it as is

this plug, is the boost regulating valve. Just need to work out what it looks like and where it goes.
Image

The one on the left is the crank position sensor, and the right is the coolant temp sensor which is mounted on a piece of pipe that seems to get rather hot (maybe near the turbo)

Hi TJ,

Thanks for letting me know.

I look forward to seeing her progress with the new owner ... :)

By the way, I called her Trundle 2 as her predecessor another 340 - 1.4, was Trundle 1 ...

Take care
