The return of an old friend (drift build)

So, here it is . I bought this car just before last xmas with the intention of building a reliable and fun drift car that hopefully wont cost me a fortune (too late lol!!) .If i am right this car was owned in the past by one of the moderaters of this forum , he did a nice job in making a good fast road car but was not a skid car so i set about changing a few things. Luckily i have my owned garage in Dartford Kent (Wisdom Mechanical 07809408482) so all work has been carried out by myself (with a bit of help/guidance from my good friend uncle nev. and F1 MOTO) to the highest standard. Unfortunately some the earlier build pics are on my other cpu so will stick them up when poss. Really just wanted to show the car is still going strong and hopefully inspire a few people and possibly get some good feedback about the car/the work that has been done

so here is a quick spec. (to remind me and let you know how things have evolved)

Engine

F7p
Head gasket changed blew between cylinders
ported and polished head
skimmed
all new gaskets
inlet now back the correct way
mocal 13 row oil cooler (front mounted)
new mandrel bent front pipe
fully serviced

interior

cobra suzuka s gt carbon seats
willans 3" harness'
hydro handbrake
flocked dash
all sound deadening removed
6 point cage
seat mounts removed
all rear seat etc. brackets removed
acid etch primed and ready for paint
rear strut brace welded in

exterior

3 set of wheels (minilights 7 x 13 ats classics 6 x 13 wellers 6 x 13)
3 .25 inch rear lowering blocks
landy rear shocks
rear discs with hi spec with seperate hand brake pistons
front gaz coilovers
trimmed front bumper for oil cooler
fibre glass bonnet
stainless exhaust with carbon rear can

plus the good bit that were already on the car such as de badge grill and passenger lock removed etc...

a few pics, as i say there will be more to come as soon as i can find them

thanks for looking joe @ wisdom 07809 408 482 (we do everything!!)

Been very busy and must put out a massive thanks to all those who helped ( we stayed at the workshop till 3 am on wed. ) the wiring tuck is pretty much done and i have removed the washer bottle (moved to behind the drivers seat) and remove the coolant expansion bottle and replaced with a rad cap in the pipe . plenty to be done. Toooo tired to even go into it but will soon get on it . hoping it will be running next weekend!!! lots of new parts !!!!

hope you like the progress especially the former owners thanks

ok bay is preety much done :D so on witha few other mods . Decided to go over to bike carbs as the efi was so untidy and following the theory that less parts means less to go wrong, I am hoping for an increase in relibility. Don't get me wrong efi as great, smooth and can be reliable and better mpg, but as this gonna be used as track car mainly I can live with the carbs downfalls . As you can see from the pics,I just need to extend a few wires and make a starter/alternater loom and mount the coil and it is done under the bonnet :D
