The MPGuino just connects directly to the LH2.4 injector drive (1 grey wire) and on the 940 the VSS on the back of the speedo. The VW mod you have added should do for speed, but will be a different calibration figure to the 940 using its ABS sensors.

It will work on any pulsed injection system if you can arrange a speed pulse signal. You have to come up with your own calibration figures although there are some starting figures for various models, and there is a simple formula for new calibration figures.

ill admit, that was my first thought.... it might not be leaving much of a wake, but its still trying to cut the air with a face like a house brick
it is nice to see something out of the ordinary .... and looking a little Citroen BX at that. kudos joris 8)

im still weighing up the idea of omex (or other) standalone management for the turbo conversion, as much for economy as power.

how did you mount front underbody panel?
do the attaching points strong enough to have a proper skid plate?

I drilled holes and used the bolts and clips that are normaly used to secure the front wings. For this application with light and thin aluminium it is strong enough. If you want it to be tough and last when you hit rocks or ground you can better build a small frame from metal and attach a metal plate to that.

And a picture of the speedsensor (VSS) from a VW golf mk2, it's needed to fool the lh 2.4 ECU.
Three wires: switched 12v, ground and the wire to the ECU

Is it wired in the picture like: 12v = Red wire . Ground = Blue wire . Signal = White wire. - or how?

Any other modifications to the rotating plate behind/inside the spedometer where the VSS is measuring?

Thanks for help //

On the sensor are marks to indicate which wire goes where. So if you have the sensor that should be no problem.
It is a bolt-in part, nothing has to be changed. You could also use a sensor from a Volvo 440 or 480, best to buy a complete cluster for a couple of pounds (spare lightbulbs for free).
