Enjoy...I'm (obviously) babying it until about 25s in. From memory, that wasn't WOT...not that it makes a notable difference!

Love that throaty sound, very nice indeed, it sounded great when you let it rip when you called by that day, makes people look, then go, hang on........ that's a Volvo!

Yes, the sound is lovely...as is the way it goes.

10MPG is less lovely...although that's hopefully to be improved shortly!

Your CISAC must have been SO broken...I'd only get 20 on 1 mile urban journeys from cold.

No, the problems are that they're sidedrafts - possibly the least efficient fuel system there is....and that the car isn't running properly below 3000rpm (long story - now on its way to being sorted), so the economical rev band isn't accessible.

Why do you ask Dai...have you heard something on't vid?

If it's the bog as I first get on the power, I've spoken to Husky, and we think it's the pump jets. If it's the nasal sound at the beginning...that's just the way those carbs sound at light throttle.

You still have that renix?

I do suspect that vacuum thing in renix is not workin as it should after all these years.

It is because I get this bog too, not as bad but still is there and sometimes it is worse sometimes not so bad, if I drive without vacuum hose connected to renix it is always same kind.

I have come up with two plans now, one is to source two hei 4-pin modules and coil so I can build ignition to megasquirt and use renix flywheel and sensor, plan 2 is to use B19e ignition module and hall sensor in distributor. Just need money right now, cost won't be much over 100 for each setup but I'm currently missing that 100 euros :(

It will be near winter or mid winter when I get my budget ready for those and I don't have a garage.
