Gold '87 340

Hi, I'm new to the forum and have recently bought my first 340. It's a bit of a shed but I plan to improve it over time...
The rear interior has been removed along with the carpets, headlining, sun visors etc, the stereo and speakers have been removed too so it's quite loud when driving.
It' been lowered somehow though I'm unfamiliar with how, I think a previous owner mentioned landrover springs/shocks..

The diff has also been welded which makes cornering exciting and parking tedious.

I'd like to revert the car back to standard-ish finding an interior is my main priority...

Looks like I've posted in the wrong section, can an admin move this to project cars?

Never saw this car, dispite knowing the previous owner. You local at all?

I'm from Dunfermline, Fife. The 150 mile drive home with welded diff, stripped out interior and occasional battery light flashing wasn't the best drive home I've ever had after buying a car.

Do you know Shaun with the black 360?

I haven't met him but I've seen the car around...

Here's a pic of it next to my r18 gtd

Took the 340 to my local track today, I wasn't particularly impressed with it, it understeered quite a lot and didn't have enough power for some of the bigger corners...

After today's poor performance I'm dedicated to revert it back to standard and get an open diff in there.

Hi mate and welcome.
Pity you have no sun roof as i could have sorted you out
with a head cloth.
Would that have been VNDs old motor with the stickers on the back?
Cheers Mark.

Managed to revert the car a little bit closer to standard, removed the lowering blocks and springs, fitted an open diff and most interior parts and a new pair of rear doors...

Anyone know where I can get matching paint for the doors?
