The season of 2014 was not successful. The new build car had some major issues when it first went on the track. The last few months where used to make some improvements on the car that would hopefully resolve the issues of the car stop running after about 2 fast laps on the track.

After a long winter working March 14 was the first tryout of 2015. We went early and brought allot of spare parts. We were guessing to do a series of laps and then go in the pits to resolve more issues that we might encounter.

However the car turned out to be working great, so we spend the whole day racing and having just a great time without fellow racers. It would have been perfect if not the last ten minutes late in the afternoon the fuel pump decided to die on us. Still we are very much pleased with the result of our little 360 now working as we want it. Looking so much forward for the start of a new season.

Gaz damper are in, lifted the engine again to check the clutch

I confirmed after long debate that it must have been the clutchplate

Image

Put in a NOS OEM plate and replace the Pressureplate for a used one i had around (the clutch kit is NLA both at Volvo and aftermarket?) with the engine out i put on some fresh paint

Image

Than i repaired the damage from last race

Still having some issues with the gearbox or adjustment of the clutch..

Oh dear, that's not good news ... You should be able to source an aftermarket one though.

Shouldn't this one fit? There are quite a few online shops which stock it.

Actually i am now looking into the Pressureplate of a B204FT.. apparently thats the stronger brother for it? No idea on partnr's and if it will actually work though. That still leaves me with finding a propper Release bearing. at this point i would like to replace everything if it turns out this is not box related and i have to pull the engine for the 3th time this year

Is that the one?

Quite a price difference, but it'd be good to know whether it works out for you in race mode :-)

I was not aware of that model... it looks like it would fit. The model from the B204FT is IIRC Sasch 3082 204 033

The 033 fits after a little trimming, you can also use astra gte F20 box clutch disk as a full 228mm disk but hard to get on its own.
