A friend bought this car not too long ago but never got the time to do anything to it! I told him id call up for a nosy as id never looked round one before... Long story short i bought it...
Someone in the past had painted it silver... Everything... Mirrors, aerial, bumpers, spoiler, door handles, all trim! So i started by painting a few things black and getting it mot'd.

Through MOT and then a cheap set of ally cats bought. Land rover shocks were in by this stage.

They werent wide enough so got a set of 7 inch wide minilites

New Clutch in
Banded 2 steels for drifting
And lifted a parts car !!!!!!
Really looking forward to swapping bumpers etc over! I was also going to weld a diff but i soon realised how well these things slide without one. It loves big wet roundabouts!!!

Good to see it being brought back from the brink, but not sure about this banded steel business.
Will you have some spare 5 door glass by any chance?

Great to see an old friend again, looks well good on the minilites, & I always wanted some for it.
I probably wont win any prizes for my 1st attempt at re-spraying, but I did learn something.
I don't regret anything I've done in this car, it promised to be a fun car, and in fairness it did deliver a good helping of fun while in my ownership.
Thanks for posting these pics, I had a really long thread that was lost in the update.

Fair play for taking into it but another half hour removing bumpers and trim would have made it a far better job! The actual paint isnt that bad.
Also id love to see the old thread if an admin can resurrect it!
Anyway...
This happened lol Hopefully get it in over Christmas.

I've found the thread for him

, so all he needs to do is make it visible again.
If you're really desperate, you can view those unauthorised ones in a roundabout way with Google's Cache.

hi Ollie, that's one great pic. Could you take a picture of how the skid plate is attached to the body for me?
