I need to find loom wire and help to do it… and my car is a LHD, so i need to relocate the mastervac on the right:

This car was for sale in France recently. Interesting how they did the pickup conversion. Are there any extra chassis braces installed to get some rigidity back or have they only chopped the roof off?

The engine can fit in the bay if i remove the boost brake, so i'll need to relocate it…

Anyone knows if this Ecu is made for catalytic model or not? I just know it was unlocked to swap the engine… so i have to find loom wires but don't know which model i need for the moment…
Image

And another question, do i have to join with a hose the tubings on the right?
Image

And i can't remove the F7P sump due to torx bolts… sm2

That ECU is for an early 1.8, it's a heck of a lot easier to work with that the later ones!

Engine is inside, but i need details... I have a non cat ecu and wireloom from a Clio now
I saw a 3rd black wire connected on the starter motor wire, where is it going exactly?
There is 4 or 5 relays, anyone knows what it is, and if there's a fuel pump relay? And wich wire i have to connect to an external fuel pump?

Ignition coil wire, i think i'm ok but i can't see where the other wires (1 wire in the middle and another with 2 wires) go

And finally these to connect too

The engine starts! But idles at 2500rpm, i have to connect a wire to the speedo (a pink wire i think, but don't know exactly which from the module and where behind the speedo)
I need to connect the radiator thermocontact and electric fan too but don't know which wire...

Am I right thinking you need a Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS)?

They can be found in Golf 1 and 2 instrument clusters, only the ones with cruise control got them.
Or the cheaper way, one out of a Volvo 440, 460 or 480 instrument cluster. You can get those complete for under a tenner and you get spare lightbulbs :D (you need the 2 or 3 resistors attached to the VSS aswell, it has to go from 12v to 5v.)

Thank you! I don't have this and the engine idles at 2500/3000rpm!! But i don't know why, the speedo doesn't work...
Will i need to connect the 3 wires or just the pink?

You do need to connect the 3 wires, the + has to from 12v to 5v, hence the resistors. There are markings on the VSS which make it easy to install the wires.
