When you had the manifold done were did you move the big vacum connection to? (the one next to the main opening)

Take it you had no problems with moving the sensor to the other end of the Manifold?

Cheers for that, Time to take it down the machine shop :)

Whilst were are on the subject of manifolds what did you do for a downpipe?
I have a Renault 19 downpipe that has a rotating flange so it is possible fit that @ 90 degrees but you then end up obstructing the flow down the down pipe because there is a seperator down the middle.

I also suspect the downpipe curve the wrong way (towards the engine) but i cant tell till i get my engine in.

Did you have a custom downpipe made?

You will need to make a custom down pipe to fit. The whole exhaust will need upgrading tbh

Yup, the brackets on the main crossmember with the steering rack are the same on the 1.4 and 1.7, at least, I'm using my 1.4 ones and the tubby is sat nicely on them ;)

I made the complete 60mm exhaust for my 343 turbo by myself. Paid 50 euro for the pipes, and got the silencer for free. (second hand) http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/v ... 2&start=90

It's a reasonable easy job, never done before. I takes about a day (without lift)
