Right guys i havent been posting for a while, as i have been having a mad few months TBH. But i have been plowing on with the 340. I was offered a williams engine for a good price before christmas so have been slowly but surely building and modifying that.
The pictures show how i bought it in components. Engine now has a port matched head and a williams tubular manifold, (not in pics) I have custom made the front cover to show the pulleys, which are soon to be adjustables.
The rocker cover has also been polished by myself. (I may offer this as a service in the offers section if anyone is interested?)
Anyways enjoy the pics.

Looks proper bo ad! Love the pulley cover! Lee was telling me you spent AGES on that thing right? I love the exposed pulleys! My engines not back together yet, hmmmmm

Anyway it's all about the yellow block not blue block y0'! Lol! Keep up the good work dude!

I was under the impression that the F7R engine had the starter on the wrong side? I'm far from being an expert on the 1.7 family of engines, though!

Great work...that that polished cam cover looks amazing. I'm not often impressed by those (usually due to the design of the cover), but that looks excellent.

Is this for your grey car?

cheers

No the starter is on the correct side on all F7R's as far as i know. I did see that myth floating around the forum a while ago.
Yeh this is for my grey one.

It's still very much floating around. :?

Do you have a definitive list of which engines do and don't fit? All F7xs, for example? I'd like to compile an article.

cheers

Nice one, the R is a much more inspiring engine than the P.

As i mentioned in my first post i have a williams exhaust manifold for this engine. Here it is after paint and being wrapped. The manifold has also been ported.
