Here are my strut top mounts, they don't look too happy?
Odd thing, car did not leak oil, it did leak a bit of something which I could not tell what it was, something yellow and it did that only twice. I did run car for 1,5hours, temps were ok and car did run really well. Leaned out mixture a bit, I think (in solex screw in and it goes lean, right? Can't remember anymore), at least it did not smell so badly behind of car so I thikn it is better, there is however very small amount of leak at cam seal, after 1.5 hours of running cam gear was tad damp from behind, so I will replace that seal, it is big task as valve cover is sealed with sealant.
Lights all worked properly, one license plate bulb need replacing, Bit of rust here and there, small spots mainly + bonnet + doors, then there is lot of rust behind rear bumper area, but I think in this one most are manageable, will tidy those mostly after the MOT. Need also find where I did put all those bits and bolts that hold bonnet on place, it is two years since I did remove bonnet from this.
Need to sell yank tank and have to concider selling french crap too, let's see now, french crap could do as winter daily, but to get 360 financed and to get that tractor thing need to make decisions.
Btw, I had lot of trouble getting 360 to move on my yard, old summer tires and snow is not very good combination and I did not have even a spare wheel at back, no backseat either, fuel tank empty, also my yard is bit banked as this is a hillside so it was quite challengine to get that thing to move, luckily I had just bought gravel for full year's supply which I did throw under the tires to get it moving, worked really well that Leca gravel (it is not stone based, it is kind of cement fragments).
Steering is bad in my 360, reason is those strut top mounts, so that is what I need to sort out before MOT, also that beam where ARB attachs to, but there should not be too much else to worry about for MOT, must check all bushes and joints tomorrow, there can be some surprises which I can't remember, but brakes were just like in new car, that little what I could test at my yard, also one wheel needs balancing as I remember that weight did fell off from it sometime a year ago.
I could of made almost all things ready, except those where parts are needed, at this week, but I have to travel to other side of county for few days again.
Oh, french crap has almost identical boot weather strip than what it is in 360, have to examine this bit closer, if I can get it measured and if that fits well to doors too, then I will have soon new weather strip for doors, my current ones are non existing.
