Hi Frits.
Your car is going to be realy something when its finished.
How about a deep red colour.

What an awesome day! Got the car on the rallystands and assembled the suspension parts. So the car is back on its wheels again! What a good feeling. So I rolled the car to the welder to complete a few bits of the cage.

Now I only have to prepare the shell for the painter. Colour choise was made, but I won't tell yet :D

Very nice work! ~200hp should be "easy" with that planned recipe.

And I also like the fact that you didn't pick up the most mint shell available for a rally project!

Hi,

I have a question.
If you are making a car for rally, will you be using LSD?
I'm hoping to find either non 300 series LSd to fit or get it made.
Do you know any other cars uses same or similar diff as 360 gearbox diff?

Or if anyone has photo of diff, I can make a Phantom diff copy!

Cheers

Don`t bother with that..Just:
Weld it! Predictable, easy, reliable and works nice

Hi,

I contacted Tom from Gripper diff.
He wants £950 for a one off LSD with Std unit as a sample.

I guess not bad price but would I want spend that much for the future project!?

Let me thnk about welding diff as well..... will not jump and skip around slow bend?

Cheers

That's not a bad price at all but tbh I'd rather have a go at building my own one. Still for the big spenders out there.

My boss convinced me to paint the inner side. I could borrow all his tools. I really had to do it, because otherwise it would look rubbish he said. So he even sponsored the paint... Well, I'm a happy man at the moment
