I also got problem with the standard propshaft.
At this moment I'm engineering a new one who will replace the standard.
It will be made out a steel pipe an cross-joints. It will handle at least 325Nm of torque.
The more I can make, the cheaper it will be.
Please let me know if you're interested.

When you want to replace the standard clutch-housing by that of a 360 you'll get yourself a lot of work.
You also have to replace the clutch because the splines is different.

Right this week i'm off work to spend some time on LFE and fianlly get her back on the road. I am on suspension first and got a lot done today after my new welding mask turned up. By end of the week i want to have lowered car back onto its rear wheels as its currently sat on axle stands. Anyways let pics do the talking.

Re: Volvo 340R EVO 3 Update 15/07/09 Watts Link!!

Post by 340GLT » 15 Jul 2009 11:45 pm

Right today i made the 2 new upper arms for the 4 link and machined a tube up to take the centre pivot bolt for the watts linkage, and welded it into the beam. I also made up the two plates that will make the pivot for the watts linkage.
Enjoy...

Not much done today due to weather, did get the pivot finished though, just needs a spacer made up and a longer bolt.

Have you used any measurements to calculate the lengts of the arms and brackets of the Watt's link? Or is it just the longest possible arm or something like that?

Motorsport quality as usual, Adam - nice work.

Looking forward to see what you're going to put between the drive shafts also!
