Pleasure to view this work, as ever.

Did it eat its original one?

yes it did (offcourse
) that seemed to die around 100xxxkm, then the replacement B14.1E (this one
) was blown up due to aged petrol.. that BB currently has a B14.4E in it

Good work on the turbo mate. Give a call if you need help with the wiring or software setup.

changed the twin 10" electric fans for twin 12" fans,
modified the bracket for the oil cooler and intercooler, i'm thinking about using a different oilcooler but that'll happen later on
and the intercooler back in place
made a plate through the existing cutout of the firewall for the fuel hoses and battery cables
and made the cables
bended some stainless pipe for the heater
new coolant pipe for the turbo
heater coolant bits done
throttle body, injectors and fuel rail in place
made the fuel hoses, connected the brake booster and made a new throttle cable
replaced the radiator for one of a volvo 360, slightly more ideal upper hose connection; i do have to redo the stainless pipe i made earlier but who cares

Your build thread is proper weld porn. You're always very precise with everything too, I appreciate that

just noticed that this needs a tiny update! first off, lets start with the very first startup:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4qVhATMYH4
didn't go exactly as planned as initially i had no spark, turned out i misplaced a earthing pin in the wiring loom; took me a while to find out.
then, with the engine warmed up and a few minor idling adjustments
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOn_qMWdxvM
no hickups except for a small issure. there are 2 AFR sensors in the downpipe, one for the AEM gauge, the other for the EFI management, the one for the EFI management says it's running lean the one for the AEM gauge says it's running really rich.. haven't found time to find out what the problem is, when that's all good it's time for a setup on the dyno.
then as i walked out of my garage i tripped over a B230 engine that was sitting next to the volvo and realised that it would probably be a better idea to get on with that engine, clear up the mess inside the garage and then crack on with the 340. so, only a few weeks later this happened
this is mid october, engine allready in the 343
currently working on the exhaust(stainless), fuelling and a small bit of wiring; then its time to fire it up
