bit more done today got the gear box out and the gear stick but thats were most of the work stops now until my dads range rover is finished its nearly done going for its mot next week woop but ive been looking into suspension systems and dam theres alot to take in i thought i new a fair amount but the more i learn the less i realise i know  but ive got to the point were im happy with lengths and angles i need to set up my instance centre roll centre etc for my rear axle design using a triangulated 4 link so i haven't got to use a watts or panard rod  bit more compact

Word of warning - 9Js will seriously fuck your bearings and you'll forever be replacing them. Just ask chris

well what do you do with those bearings chris?

i know 2 360's in holland with 16" and 9"wide rims, everything stays in one piece.. the only reason i stay with 7" wide is due to the welded diff as i don't want too much stress on the CV joints.

I get between 15 and 20,000 out of a set of genuines. I've found Timken significantly better than SKF and Fag, which in turn are significantly better than cheapy unbranded.

Tbh, with the abuse Fake gets I guess thats not bad, but Kar went for nigh on 100,000 on the same set.
