Looking good fellah - I always wanted to slam it, but the wife wouldn't let me

Glad you're making progress with the old beast. I chucked in a tube of Tigerseal if you choose to put the rubbing strip back on

well i started doing some minor rust removal today
i started with the small front panel between the head lights and the bumper
and as it doesnt have headlight wipers anymore i thought i would delete the hole at the same time
it wanst too bad rust wise just the edges and there was a large bubble that turned into a hole once i was done buffing it back  ...
...
...
... by hand!!!!!!   lol i was bored.
so i got the holes fiberglassed up and filled and am currently waiting for the filler to harden. :D :D :D
ill post up a couple of pics later tonight and some more tomorrow.
its looking alright so far seeing as im not a panelbeater im a painter i like doing little things like that :D

Theres just something mean looking about primer.
I think a slammed 340 valver in primer, rolling on steels in primer, would pretty much look like the hardest car in the world.

well i should have a major update at the weekend
my rear left wheel bearing is whining like hell so i tried to get w wheel bearing but they cant get the one i need
i have 3 brand new rear whels bearings which are for the newer 300s and i also have a complete 1989 340 rear axle spare
so my idea is to rebuild my spare axle with new bearings and remove all braking components
then remove the 360 axle and remove all braking components from it
then fit all 360 braking components to the 340 axle as the brkes for the 360 are bigger and awesome!!!!!
then fit 340/360 hybrid axle to the 360 and hope for the best.
thanks to volvodspec for all the info and sorry to him for being annoying with questions 340pw
thanks for looking
