I was going to write a message here tonight, asking for help to identify the source of the problem, but earlier today, I stumbled upon it on my own. I had some extra time, and I decided to look underneath the rear seat cushions. And in addition to the ordinary accumulated crap, there was a golf ball under the seat! It even had enough room to rattle around, because on both sides under the seat, near the door, there's this maybe 10x10 cm empty space.
Funny suspension noise
Funny suspension noise
I had this weird noise on the car when making a sharp turn to the right. Something in the back made a noise like there was an empty soda can rattling around somewhere. I checked the boot and interiour, nothing loose lying around. Next I jacked the car up and looked at various suspension parts and mounting points. No problems found there... Starting to get really puzzled now. But I just continued driving, just to see if it got worse and it didn't. So a week or two passed, with the noise going nowhere.

I threw the bloody thing away, and now I can chuck the car in any direction with no extra sounds. Good thing, because now we're starting to have ice on the ground, finally I can have some fun with the car
