Handbrake Button has popped out - HELP!

Post by Figgy » 13 Jun 2010 11:18 am

Hi everyone, the latest drama from my daughter - the handbrake button has popped out and will not go back in permanently. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I did have a whole new (2nd hand) handbrake lever organised from eBay, but it seems the seller got a better offer...

Cheers all!

2 part epoxy resin glue. It's an old problem going back to DAFs. No thread button, just pushed on with a prayer.

Thanks for the reply Mac, If I glue it in - it won't move, it needs to move... or am I missing some vital info here? :?

It presses onto a peg thing that actually moves doesn't it?
Stick the button to that, in the place that it normally sits and you should be laughing.
With full articulation.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
