Fitted Brake cylinders!

Post by Jaspersilus » 09 Oct 2010 10:19 pm

Hi Chaps,
as you may know my 360 glt has been in a barn for the last 10 years, last week I drove it out of the barn to an outdoor area, and gave it a good wash.!

So today I thought Id check the condition of the rear brake drums, after a while I managed to remove the outer drum ( took a while with hammer and big screw driver ), inside was pretty rusty, got my dad to press the brake and the cylinder just fell to pieces, anyway to cut a long story short, I had new cylinders, so took it apart, fitted new cylinder, reassembled, and it bloody worked!!! :D

The moral of this story is, if you, like me, have fists of of ham and fingers of butter, you too can do repairs to a volvo 300!!!!!!!!!! :360:
